Great technologic innovation projects at the Spanish Pavilion

Third day at the Spanish Pavilion during the Mobile World Congress 2021 with a constant influx of visitors. Our presentations agenda, with technologic innovation at its core, is engaging and catching the attention of many curious visitors.

Carlos Grau Lara, Managing Director of the Barcelona Mobile World Capital Foundation, visited us this morning. Joined by the Red.es team, they have met with some of the exhibiting companies of the Pavilion and discovered pioneer technological projects in our country.

Carlos Prieto Gómez, Subdelegate of the Spanish Government in Barcelona, also came by this morning to get to know firsthand some of the designs and projects of the exhibiting companies.

Afterwards we had some very interesting roundtables such as “Scaleup Spain Network, a driving force to boost the Spanish start-up ecosystem” with Wayra and Endeavor Spain, and What now? Innovation, financing and partnership opportunities” with the collaboration Silicon Castles, Accenture and Fundación CRE100DO.

Later at noon we were joined by four women with high positions in some of the most important companies in our country. Under the headline “Women’s Leadership and Technology: How to accelerate the representation of women in decision-making positions”, they held a discussion about women’s role in management boards and the IT sector.

Also, and like all the previous days, some of the exhibiting companies in the Spanish Pavilion made presentations about their projects. They all had the chance to show their projects and services to both physical and virtual visitors. All of the sessions have been recorded and will be available à la carte in our website for anybody who wishes to watch them live or deferred.
