Technology as the leading figure at the Spanish Pavilion

On the second day of the Mobile World Congress 2021, the Secretary of State for Digitization and Artificial Intelligence Carme Artigas visited the Spanish Pavilion.

The Spanish National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE) was in charge of the first presentation of the day, hand in hand with Carme Artigas who made the opening remarks. During the session they introduced Observaciber, a cybersecurity meeting point developed jointly by the Technology and Society Spanish Observatory (ONTSI).

After the presentation, the Secretary of State for Digitization and Artificial Intelligence visited some of the exhibiting companies at the Spanish Pavilion. They were able to show her and chat with her about their technological projects their most representatives aspects.

One of the protagonists of the day was Nothingbutnet Group, which was invited to explain a different use of technology. Its President, Javier Bosch, NBN23 CEO Miguel Bullón, and Amaya Valdemoro, former WNBA and Spanish League player, presented their project on the digitalization on basketball with a focus on how technology applied to sports can improve society.

Networking is one of the main goals of this MWC21 edition, which is why this morning there were two meetings between tech companies form different countries. First, there was a networking session with La French Tech between France and Spain. Then, another session with Hub Brussels between Belgium and Spain. These events were offered to its participants in order to encourage valuable connections and create synergies.

Throughout the day several exhibiting companies in the Spanish Pavilion have presented their technological projects that have received a great response from the audience. All the presentations have been available both physically at our Presentation Area and in our website with live streaming.
