VR-CARDIO: A new cardiac care era

Theme: Big data / analítica, Servicios de software, Inteligencia artificial
Spika Tech was refounded in 2018 by three entrepreneurial women. Under the leadership of its current CEO, Cristina Zúñiga, the company is propelled towards entrepreneurship, leadership, and female business talent. Located in the vibrant heart of Madrid, Spika Tech leads in technological development, as proven by its numerous awards and recognitions, in fields such as virtual reality, robotics, and artificial intelligence, always emphasizing research and innovation. The company has developed VR-CARDIO, a pioneering technology that offers a 360-degree holographic, stereoscopic visualization, allowing non-invasive observation of the heart's electrical signals. VR-CARDIO aims to enhance the diagnosis and prevention of cardiovascular diseases, the leading cause of death in the country, marking a significant advance in the fight against cardiac arrhythmias. This innovation was recognized as one of the selected projects in the EIC Accelerator program, through which Spika Tech received almost €6M in funding. VR-CARDIO has also got multiple awards and recognitions at both national and international levels, with many leading cardiologists in the country recognizing its potential application in specialized clinical practice for arrhythmia treatment. In addition to VR-CARDIO, Spika Tech leads in developing PRAS (Autonomous Robotics Service Platform), co-financed by Red.es and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). PRAS stands out with its modular design, multi-interface capabilities, low cost, and an unlimited battery system, embodying the company's innovative spirit. It also incorporates ChatOS, enhancing its adaptability to a wide range of operational environments through advanced communication features. Recently, Spika Tech was included in three projects of the European Defence Fund (EDF): CASSATA, SESIOP, and REACTII. This call, led by the European Union, encompasses over 40 projects with total funding of more than €800 million. Spika Tech will be part of the consortium that includes leading companies in the sector such as INDRA, Leonardo, Thales, and Airbus. The company's inclusion in these projects marks a significant milestone and an opportunity for expansion into new horizons, strengthening its position as an innovative company in technology and health, and paving the way for applying its expertise and knowledge in the defense sector in the coming years.
